Hey guys!

Thank you all for the overwhelming response to my last article on how to dress for a formal event! I’m so glad to hear you love the look and got inspired! Dare to show some leg girls! 🙂

Some of you commented on my Filmfare look recently, asking why I chose to wear an Indian outfit instead of opting for a gown as most celebrities do at a black tie or red carpet event.

Let me say that first of all, I think there is no more graceful way of dressing than in a beautiful Indian outfit! Anarkali being my favourite! So whenever there is a chance for me to go with an Indian style, I do it. Filmfare being our Indian equivalent to The Oscars, I find it the one opportunity in the year to go all out with my most stunning red carpet style.

Sukriti, my lovely stylist, chose this gorgeous Anju Modi ensemble and I instantly fell in love with it! Mid-night blue with sparkly silver embroidery and a sheer dupatta… It made me feel like royalty. Ravina put up my hair to let the outfit stand in all it’s glory and chose a slightly heavier eye make-up for the red carpet occasion.

A special thank you at this point to Filmfare and Mr. Nilesh Singh for the honourable mention of our charity foundation Seams For Dreams at this years awards function. It really means a lot to us having the support of the Indian film and fashion industry to help us achieve our mission to give back to the ones in need.

What do you think of this look and where would you wear it? Comment below!
