Hope you all are well! For the past few weeks, I’ve been basking in the beauty of the land down under, or more commonly known as Australia! It’s currently autumn here and it really is interesting to be in a place where the seasons are flipped around! The weather is perfect, the sun has this golden late summer shine and I spent the weekend celebrating Easter with some of my dear friends here in Sydney. Even though the terrible incidents in SriLanka have left a shadow over this time, I still believe that good always wins over evil, and the restoration of this world back to its beautiful Garden of Eden is near. Sounds poetic, maybe it’s the sea salt in the air that’s making me hopeful and happy. All I’m saying is: Never give up on love, guys. It’s always the answer, and love always has the last word.
This time off has really been really good to me and I have even managed to take my mind off of work for a bit, and I really needed it after a crazy 12 months of shooting for projects like Saaho, growing Seams For Dreams to the next level and establishing my management team under a new umbrella WIP Creatives. It can become taxing to be doing it all, but it’s here that I have actually found a new love for it all! I guess, sometimes you just need a bit of distance to see things from a fresh perspective and make your heart grow fonder… This sabbatical has allowed me lots of time to relax by the beach and ponder about life, to be close to nature and reevaluate what I want to do moving forward… I feel like I’ve been reconnecting with myself in a way. In big cities like Mumbai, things can get so hectic, it’s always good to come to the countryside to introspect.
Most importantly, being away from my day to day musings gives me space to create and brainstorm on new ideas that I can’t wait to share with you all!
Sending you all lots of love from Australia! If you haven’t been yet, do visit! It’s beautiful and not as many dangerous crocodiles as I thought! lol There are so many gorgeous vineyards and fun surfing spots! I will have to show you more photos of that soon, so keep your eyes locked on my Instagram Story or Facebook Story to not miss a thing!
BTW, what’s your favorite holiday spot? Leave me a COMMENT! And maybe I’ll vacation there next! 🙂
